MBSR participation offers the possibility of
developing a different relationship to stress through
mindfulness meditation and mindful movement.
MBSR is an evidence-based program developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn in the 1970s. It has been studied extensively and has consistently shown itself to be beneficial.
The majority of MBSR participants report lasting
decreases in psychological and physical symptoms exacerbated by chronic stress
(such as chronic pain, sleep disturbances, and anxiety).
